Magazine Drive Pt. 2 & Change

The Magazine Drive still has a few hours left to go (and I think online sales will actually stay open well into next week...). Here are the standings:

1st place- Kennedy Singers 55.5% participation
2nd place- Excalibur 38.4% participation
3rd place- Troubadors 36.6% participation

The official results will be posted here on the blog Monday afternoon...

If, for some reason, you have not been able to turn in an order, bring it to school on Monday and we will get it sent off for your customer. This is such an important fundraiser and I really appreciate your efforts to make it a success! It isn't too late to make your mark and show your comittment to the music program- order online now!

Also- a request for spare change... we need contributions for the figgy pudding caroling contest (Friday, Dec. 4 @ Westlake Center- plan now to attend!) and literally every dime counts. If you have change... or bills... that you are willing to donate, please bring it to class and we will put it to good work for the Pike Place Senior Center! Thanks.

Magazine Drive

The drive ends this Friday, November 20. Remember, the goal is at least one magazine sold per student and the class with the highest percentage of participation wins a class party! Currently the standings are:

1st place- Excalibur with 17% participation
2nd place- Kennedy Singers with 7% participation
3rd place- Troubadors with 5% participation

Keep at it! Times are tough, but together we can do this! Use the internet to your advantage! Click here for the link to the website. Our school code is 135967. While you're at it, take the video tour!

MEN

I must confess... I did not get the registration form in on time for the MEN singing workshop this Saturday. That being said, I am willing to bet that if there are a few guys who want to spend the day in Puyallup learning from some serious singing masters, I might be willing to grovel our way in. Let me know ASAP- but guys only!
