This group does an awesome at changing dynamics from loud to soft very quickly and executes the accents well! I didn't realize how short this song was.
Yay for a Filipino choir! Ha ha. Their dynamic contrasts are amazing, their accents are energetic, and their articulations are crisp and precise. I can't believe they're singing this sitting down O.o
Tenors seemed to be dominant in this song. I think the choir should have stood up though it would have given them more stage presence but they still sang super good. -Fernando "nanderz" Hernandez
I liked the dynamics and how you could hear all the parts. they dragged at one point though during the repeating daemons.I thought the ending could have been more dramatic.
(i accidentally posted the comment for this osng on the esto page because i open all the songs in each tab and got my self confused when i posted the comment) For this song i thought it was pretty cool! i love the emphasis on certain parts. it sounds intense! - Dena
This choir did a great job with accenting the staccato notes! I like the semi circle idea for this song so that we would be able to interact with each other but I don't like how they were sitting down. I thought it was interesting that specific voice parts tended to lean in when they had a long line or a staccato note and then leaned back when their part wasn't as important. ~Abby
ok so recently ive been sick and unable to sing, so irecorded excalibur singing "daemon" this last friday morning (Casey saw me record it with my phone) and after hearinng it.....i really think that excalibur smacked the beginning part and sounded a heck of a lot better than the video! ...that was until we didnt know the rest of the song yet, HONEST! I think that we have a sense of "ghoulishness" to our voices when we sing this and we can make this so TIM BURTON would love it!

I really liked how the voice part with the important lines stood out at their appropriate times while the others backed abway at that point-Bailee
ReplyDeleteHearing the actual words is so much cooler. Don't really like how they are sitting not standing but i like the semi circle.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fast song.
ReplyDeleteI turned on the video, went to get my backpack, and it was over.

I was expecting the song to be a lot faster. The choir sang it well though.
ReplyDeleteThey sounded really good because they sang out and made it obvious that there were many accents in this piece
ReplyDeletethis is going to be way hard on words

ReplyDeleteI like what they did to their sound by their formation but i think they could have gotten more out of it if they stood up.

Scary...they make it sound so dramatic. They coulkd have used a better camera though.
